PLAYOFF GAME DAY 5: vs Drakkar

A preview of today’s game between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Saint John Sea Dogs…

What: 2015 President Cup Playoffs, first round, game five. Baie-Comeau leads the best-of-seven series 3-1.

Records: The Sea Dogs finished the regular season third in the Maritimes Division and 10th overall in the QMJHL with a record of 32-26-4-6 for 74 points. The Drakkar finished fourth in the East Division and seventh overall with a 35-25-5-3 record for 78 points.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 2-4-0-0 against the Drakkar this year while Baie-Comeau is 4-2-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: In game four on Wednesday, the Sea Dogs staved off elimination with a 4-2 win over the Drakkar at Harbour Station. Daniel Del Paggio, Nathan Noel, Jakub Zboril and Mark Tremaine scored for the Dogs while Sebastien Auger made 31 stops in the win. Dzmitry Ambrozheichik and Jasmin Boutet had Drakkar goals. Philippe Cadorette made 24 saves in the loss.
